Sleep Story of the Month
For the first ever sleep story spotlight, we want to highlight a long-time sleep industry veteran and recent EnsoData customer, Dayana Arellano, of 8 Hour Sleep Clinics in Texas. Arellano and the 8 Hour team put a primary focus on the patient experience, leveraging technology and training to set up their team for success.
“We are 100% about patient care, patient satisfaction, timeliness, and comfort,”said Arellano.“Everything we do is about our patients, 100% of the time.”
In the face of the current pandemic, Arellano has spearheaded a robust shift to a completely virtual setting, expanding drop-ship HSTs while implementing Telehealth infrastructure for scheduling and virtual appointments. To see how 8 Hour made the change, click the graphic below to read the full story, it won't even take 8 minutes.
“I don’t think sleep medicine, and medicine in general, will be exactly the same ever again," said Arellano of the changes being made due to COVID. "But we have hard working people and people who are dedicated and committed to finding ways to provide our patients with the best care that we can, and that’s where we can start.”
Kudos, Dayana. You're a true champion of sleep.

The healthcare world was abuzz these past weeks, with a number of fantastic articles and stories about the world of sleep medicine, on the future of AI in healthcare, and a sad day as we remember a sleeping giant.
#GoodReads 🔥 Fire 🔥 Topic of the Month
One of our most popular internal communication channels is our #GoodReads thread where our team shares articles, podcasts, music, and more - either in the world of AI, Sleep, or from our varied personal interests. Each month, we'll share the most discussed topic, and perhaps a comment or two from the team on why it was worth the time. This month's hot topic is an interesting look at music written for sleeping and falling asleep.
"Sleep is such an important factor of our lives that it influences music creation, as well! From sleep concerts to listening to ambient tones at home, sleep music is here to positively impact the way we doze off into a dreamy state," shared our AI & Machine Learning Engineer, Yoav Nygate.

Team Shout Out of the Month
Our team has the best Zoom calls on Friday afternoons because it is the people who make EnsoData hum. One of the pillars of our organization is team building, and part of that is acknowledging the amazing things they do every day. So, in each newsletter, we're going to be pulling back the curtain to show off the awesome EnsoData team.
July Shout Out
Our team has so many fantastic folks to recognize, but the monthly shout out is for one lucky pineappler who's shined brightest this month. This month, we'd like to recognize Fred Turkington, EnsoData's Customer Success Manager. Fred, pictured second from the left in the top row, is an instrumental member of the EnsoData team, working directly with customers on installations, integrations and generally optimizing EnsoSleep operations in action.
When he's not kicking keister on the customer success front, you'll likely find Fred catching up on the latest Redox or ReplyAll podcast or simply out pounding the pavement and nature trails around the state. How to turn him off? Offer a red delicious apple, as they are his one bugaboo. Had he not been a part of the EnsoCrew, you might have found Fred in an architecture firm, but we're lucky he's chosen to join our team. Thank you, Fred, a real wizard of the people.
EnsoData Product Updates
Last but not least is our product updates section. It's been a busy month for developers, and we want to share a few new tools and options for you to peruse:
Our new Re-download button has been a fan favorite right off the bat. With a simple click, you can get a fresh copy of the EnsoSleep scoring if someone has accidentally saved over the scored study.
Undo Scoring functionality has also been added to the dashboard, (see below).
That's where we'll leave you this month. As this is our inaugural edition, we'd love your input on what else you'd like to see included! Please feel free to respond directly to this email with your ideas, constructive criticism, and other feedback.
Cheers,
Steven
EnsoData Marketing Manager
P.S. Do you like polls... we have a pretty easy one for you: Did your sleep center perform more sleep tests in June than in May?
